Why is music important?

Introduction
Have you ever wanted to listen to music while doing work at school, practicing a sport,or just when your cleaning and your teacher, coach,or parents say no? This blog will give you pointers to tell them the benefits like how it can motivate a person, how its good for your brain, and how it can control emotions.
Will this make them think twice before saying no????
First Entry
The main idea of the article is persuade you that musical experience can help the brain and improve its ability to distinguish between rapidly changing sounds.
The author wants to persuade the reader that having musical experience improves the ability of people to increase verbal memory. The author had a lot of persuasive sentences. One example is when they say children who aren't good at rapid auditory processing and are high risk for becoming poor readers they may epically benefit from musical training. Also they say having  musical training can improve the reading ability of children who have dyslexia and other reading problems. This is reliable because they give you strong information and tell you they did a study on it.
The author talks about researchers had 2 groups listen to 3 tone sequences of different pitches in rapid succession.
The viewpoint of the article is that you should have musical experience because those who do are more focused than those who didn't.The author says that this is a Stanford study which is good and makes the article trustworthy and reliable.Furthermore, she gives names of who did the study which is helpful.
Overall this source was very good and creditable because of all the facts and names of who was involved in the study.
Second Entry
The main idea of the article is to inform you that music can positively influence your brain in many ways.
The author wants to inform the reader that listening to music can relieve  body stress levels which will drop due to decrease in the stress hormone cortisol (part of your brain.)The author used a lot of detail to support his claim. One example is in the article when he says listening to upbeat music can increase the number of antibodies in your system which are crucial to identifying and eliminating harmful bacteria and viruses.Another example is that listening to music can distract you enough to take away your anxiety and help you perform better. This is reliable because they have a source, date, and they talk about the studies they tested.
The viewpoint of this article is that music can be a good thing to listen to because you are more focused and can help create new pathways needed for speech. This is a reliable source because they give names of therapy places that treated brain injuries and used music.
Overall this source was very helpful for my topic and was very precise and to the point. Also it had facts backed up by data and studies making it trust worthy.
Third Entry
The main idea of the article is to persuade you that music can motivate and inspire you.
The author wants to persuade the reader that music is a good way to help relieve stress. Also it can change a mood (positive or negative.)
The author gave persuasive sentences. One example is when you play a sport music an help to get emotionally ready for competition.Another example is music changes ones mood by inspiring them to want to be better and help others.I didn't think the information was reliable because she had a lot of opinion like "music is power full" and she uses words like "they claim" or "music lovers."Which made me wonder where she got her information and if it was reliable.
The authors viewpoint is that music can control your mood (happy, sad, mad,or angry.) The author used a lot of her own background knowledge which wasn't supported.
Overall the source was not reliable because she didn't support the information and the wording used.
